  Ім'я моє Ірина, і моє царство — це кухня.

  Сусідки здивовано хитають головою: «І чого ти з нею возишся.
  Ось у нас газова плита, духовка…»
  А я лишень посміхаюся у відповідь.
  Тим часом як вони відтирають противні і наглядають за каструлями, я можу спокійно встигнути і борщу наваристого зварганити, і плову розсипчастого, і ніжного чізкейку
  спекти.
  
  Фокус ось у чому: як тільки прокинуся накидала
  в чашу овочі з м'ясом, натиснула кнопку «Гасіння» — і до обіду можна повільно снідати, розкладати крупи по банкам чи поливати герань.
  Увечері чоловік, ледь вчувши запах, іде на кухню: «І знову ти щось чаклуєш»
  
  А я подаю на стіл тюфтельки у вершковому соусі.
  Мультиварка ледь чутно пікає, виходить ароматна пара — і в цьому є вся магія
  затишку. Ніхто не вірить, що тут немає
  жодної пригорілої скоринки, а час йде лише на красиву
  подачу.
  
  Вправна господиня — зовсім не та, хто цілі дні біля
  плити. А та, хто нагодувала всіх смачно і прибрала за собою одну крихітну чашу.
  І я це обожнюю.
